When Woody gathers up the toys for a staff meeting, Bo Peep hooks her cane on Woody's neck to pull him closer, thanks him for saving her flock, and asks if she can have somebody else, like Woody, to "watch the sheep tonight," to which Woody laughs sheepishly.Īfter Buzz Lightyear arrives in Andy's room, she is shown to be impressed about Buzz like the other toys, especially after he demonstrates how he "flies," but she still maintains a special place for Woody when she tells him that Andy, who is excited about having Buzz, will always have a special place for him. Bo Peep is portrayed to be calling for help, which comes when Andy pulls out Woody to arrest "Bart," thus saving the day. Potato Head, portrayed by Andy as One-Eyed Bart, threatens to have her sheep run over if she doesn't keep quiet after he "robs" the bank. In Toy Story, she is first shown when Andy Davis, who has set up a stage, is portraying her as a distressed shepherdess who is despaired when Mr. Toy Story "The sooner we move, the better." -Bo Peep, after Sid blows up a Combat Carl In private, she is a great deal more daring with her words and actions, which Woody seems to be quite fond of. She is noted for using her shepherdess crook to hook her Cowboy and bring him closer in a romantic way. Bo is the romantic interest of Woody, providing a calm and loving comfort whenever he is overwhelmed. Bo is sometimes considered to be "Andy's toy" because Andy likes to make her the damsel in distress of his plays. Bo insists that she prefers living her life this way.She is inspired by the character of the classic children's nursery rhyme Little Bo-Peep. While Woody is disheartened to hear that Bo Peep is a lost toy, her philosophy about her purpose in life has changed drastically over the years. Now, she and her new friends consider themselves lost toys, taking the opportunity to play with whichever kids happen to pass through the carnival or the nearby playground whenever they can. Even though she's suffered a few cracks in her porcelain, Bo Peep has stayed strong and proven her independent nature by becoming the street-smart leader of a group of toys who live at a carnival.ĭuring a talk with Woody, Bo Peep explains that, shortly after Andy's mom gave her away, she was put in an antique shop where she collected dust for years before escaping to live a new life with her sheep: Billy, Goat, and Gruff. Back in the present day, Woody joins Bonnie's family on a road trip, where he comes across a new and improved Bo Peep, who now wears a pink bow in her hair and and drives around in a toy car disguised as a skunk. While she's known for her kindness and sensible nature, it turns out Bo Peep also has a tough side to her, and she can put up with way more than Woody or any of the other toys would have ever imagined. ![]() Woody and Bo Peep part ways, but it's certainly not the last they see of each other. Just as Woody is about to accept, Andy comes rushing out of the house in a panic because he's unable to find his favorite cowboy doll. Woody, ever the hero, attempts to help Bo Peep escape, but she insists it's time to move on to a new kid and even invites Woody to come with her. So, what exactly has she been up to since then?ĭuring a flashback nine years into the past at the beginning of Toy Story 4, Andy's mom sells Bo Peep, her sheep, and her lamp to an unnamed man who wants to put them in his daughter's bedroom.
